A very talented photographer and friend of mine, Arthur Meyerson. His new book, The Color of Light is incredible.

He gave me a great pep talk when I visited him in Houston. I have been shooting a lot more than in the past 2 years thanks to him.

On February 1st, 2013 my girlfriend and I embarked upon a year-long journey across the United States in an Airstream trailer, guided only by the suggestions of our followers. We now have a Tumblr to help document it all.

Can’t decide if this is supposed to be a ripoff or a tribute to Irving Penn’s 1977 photo, “Frozen Foods with String Beans.” It’s a little too close to the original to be an homage, in my opinion.
